How to get a refund
Email from the address you paid with, or with the receipt attached. We do not have a form for this and we are not going to build one — a form is how companies make refunds tiring enough that people give up.
Refunds are issued by Paddle, who are the merchant of record for the sale, back to the original payment method. Paddle's timing is typically a few working days, and it is out of our hands once we have approved it.
After thirty days
The thirty-day window is the no-questions one. Past it, ask anyway. If the plugin has not worked properly for you, or something we said it did turned out not to be true, we would rather refund you than keep money we did not earn. What we will not do past thirty days is refund a full year that has been used for eleven months.
How to cancel
Use the customer portal link in your receipt email, which is Paddle's and lets you cancel, change the card, or download invoices yourself. Manage or cancel your subscription
Or email us and we will cancel it for you. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you are not cut off the moment you press the button, and you do not get charged again.
What cancelling does to your site
This is the part worth reading, because it is where plugin subscriptions usually hold something hostage. Cancelling does none of the following: it does not disable your feeds, it does not delete your events, it does not hide features behind a nag, and it does not put your site into any kind of reduced mode.
- All your feeds keep syncing. The feature does not stop.
- No data disappears. Not one event, not one feed, not one setting.
- The free plugin runs completely unchanged.
- There are no more updates. That is what you bought, and that is what stops.
- You get one admin notice. Not on every page, not in a modal, and never a fatal error.
- Your site does not stop. No white screen. Ever.
What you give up is future maintenance — the timezone database updates, the changes Google and Microsoft make to their calendar formats, and the PHP and WordPress releases the code has to keep up with. That is a real loss over a year or two, and it is the honest reason to renew. It is not a loss on the day you cancel, and we are not going to design the software to make it feel like one.
Chargebacks
Please email us before starting one. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refund and takes months, and there has never been a case where asking first would not have been faster. If you have already started one, tell us anyway and we will not fight it.
The free plugin
There is nothing to refund and nothing to cancel. It is free, it is GPL, and it stays installed and working whether or not you ever buy anything.
